30/07/2008 Clean Up of Energy-Efficient Lightbulbs There has been some confusion about the correct clean up method for eco-bulbs which contain mercury.

The amount of mercury in an eco-bulb is very small, around 1 to 5 mg, and the risk of mercury poisoning from exposure to a broken bulb is minimal.
