Three medicines made by manufacturer Ranbaxy are currently under investigation. They are Lovir, Cefaclor and Amoxicillin.
The medicines in New Zealand are considered safe. They are under investigation by Medsafe due to substandard manufacturing and auditing processes.
People taking these medicines should continue to take them and contact Healthline (0800 611 116) or their doctor for further advice.
